PLA in Myntra stands for Product Listing Ads, the self-serve sponsored product format on Myntra. A PLA campaign shows your style as a normal product tile with a small ad tag on search results, category pages and product pages, and you pay per click. Campaigns are created in the Partner Portal and funded by a release order or PLA credits.
You choose the styles to promote, a targeting mode and a bid. Automatic targeting lets Myntra match the style to searches and similar products; keyword targeting lets you bid on the phrases shoppers type; product targeting, the newer option, places your tile on competing product pages. Bids are per click, and time-based bidding lets you raise them in chosen hours, typically the 7 to 11 pm window.
Myntra groups styles at the style-ID level, so a new style with no sales history can sit at zero impressions for a few days while the system learns. Sellers who launch during a sale often see this and assume the campaign is broken; it usually is not.
The campaign draws from a release order or from PLA credits. Sellers who paid the Growth Enablement Charge at onboarding receive it back as PLA credits, which are spent the same way. Blooprint's Myntra ads guide on blooprint.in walks through the screens; this page stays on the metrics.
Worked example: a kurta seller bids ₹15 and the campaign converts 3% of clicks. Cost per order is ₹15 / 0.03 = ₹500. On a ₹1,499 kurta with a 35% contribution margin, ₹525 is available per order before the ad loses money, so the campaign is profitable by ₹25 an order before returns. At a 30% return rate, it is not. That is why Myntra sellers judge PLA on ROAS net of returns rather than the dashboard figure.
Agencies quote CPCs of ₹6 to ₹35 by category and competition, and suggest ₹15,000 to ₹30,000 a month as a starting budget. Attributed sales use a 30-day lookback according to seller guides, so a campaign's ROAS keeps rising for weeks after a click.
Banner formats on Myntra are separate, sold on impressions at around ₹150 CPM for list banners, and are not PLA.

Learn more →PLA stands for Product Listing Ads. On Myntra it is the self-serve sponsored product format: your style appears as a tagged tile on search, category and product pages, and you pay per click.
The same thing: a per-click product listing ad. Flipkart PLA is funded from an ad wallet and reports ROI; Myntra PLA is funded from a release order or PLA credits and reports ROAS on attributed orders before returns.
Agencies report ₹6 to ₹35 per click depending on category, with a Re 1 minimum bid. Myntra does not publish a rate card. Add 18% GST on the invoice.
New style IDs have no history, so the system takes a few days to start serving them. Check that the RO has balance and the style is live, then wait a week before changing bids.
