Myntra PLA ads: how sponsored products work on Myntra (2026)

Myntra PLA, Product Listing Ads, are Myntra's sponsored products: per-click ads that place your existing style in search results, on product pages and in home feeds, funded from a Release Order. You target by keyword, by style with automatic clustering, or by product, and can raise or lower bids by hour. This page covers the three targeting modes, the placements and a first campaign.

What PLA is on Myntra

PLA is the only self-serve ad format a Myntra marketplace seller controls. It uses your existing product tile, with no separate creative, and puts it in a sponsored slot. You pay when a shopper clicks. It is the same family as Flipkart PLA and Amazon Sponsored Products, and the PLA glossary entry on this site covers the general mechanics.

Myntra's other formats, PCA contextual slots, list and home banners and event packages, are sold by Myntra's ad team and quoted per deal. Blooprint's Myntra ads guide describes them and the Growth Enablement Charge; this page stays on running PLA.

The three placements

PlacementShopper stateWhat wins it
Search resultsTyped a query such as 'cotton kurta set'Keyword relevance, bid, and the style's click-through rate
Product detail pageLooking at a similar styleProduct targeting of comparable styles; price and rating against the viewed item
Home and category feedsBrowsing without a queryStyle-level performance; images that stop the scroll

Agency guides that describe the 2026 console call these the three placement environments. Myntra's report shows performance by campaign and style rather than a clean placement split, so separate campaigns by targeting mode if you want to see which environment pays.

Keyword, style and product targeting

Keyword targeting lets a kurta brand bid on the terms shoppers actually type rather than on a category. Start from the search terms in your organic listing titles and add long-tail terms with fabric, occasion and fit.

Style targeting advertises chosen style IDs and lets Myntra cluster them automatically on a 30-day performance lookback, so spend leans towards styles that have converted recently. It is the lowest-effort mode and a sensible first campaign, but new style IDs have no history and often show near-zero impressions until they earn some.

Product targeting, which Myntra's own channel added a walkthrough for in 2026, puts your style on the product pages of comparable styles. Use it for a style that wins on price or rating against a named competitor.

Time-based bids

Myntra lets you raise or lower the CPC by hour. Fashion browsing peaks in the evening, and agency guides recommend raising bids 10% to 15% between 7 pm and 11 pm and trimming them in low-conversion hours. The same guides report a click floor of Re 1 and typical clicks of ₹6 to ₹35; those are agency figures, as Myntra publishes no rates. Use the suggested bid shown in the portal as your starting point.

A first PLA campaign

  1. Raise the Release Order

No RO, no spend. Size it to two to three weeks of the budget you plan, or use Growth Enablement credits if you are a new seller.

  2. Pick five to ten styles

Styles with complete size runs in stock, good images and a size chart. Agency guidance is that ten to twelve proven styles beat fifty spread thin.

  3. Start with style targeting

Let the 30-day clustering do the first allocation, at the suggested bid.

  4. Add a keyword campaign after a week

Take the terms and styles that converted and bid on them directly, with evening bids 10% to 15% higher.

  5. Judge after returns

Myntra's ROI counts attributed orders; a share of fashion orders come back. Compare styles on net-of-returns ROI before scaling.

Troubleshooting PLA

BlooprintAI does not manage Myntra ads yet; Myntra is marked coming soon. Flipkart PLA is fully supported today, with bulk campaign creation from one CSV and bid changes by filter.

  • Zero impressions on a new style: no history for clustering. Put it in a keyword campaign or wait for organic orders.
  • Campaign stopped mid-week: the RO is used up or has passed its validity.
  • High clicks, low orders: the size run is broken or the price is above the styles shown alongside. Fix the listing before the bid.
  • Good ROI, poor profit: returns. Add the style's return rate to the report.

Frequently asked questions

What is PLA in Myntra?

Product Listing Ads: Myntra's self-serve sponsored products. Your existing style appears in a sponsored slot in search, on product pages or in feeds, and you pay per click from a Release Order.

How do I run sponsored product ads on Myntra?

In the Partner Portal's advertising section, raise a Release Order, create a PLA campaign, choose keyword, style or product targeting, set the bid and budget, and add the styles to promote.

What is the minimum bid for Myntra PLA?

Myntra does not publish one. Agency guides report a floor of Re 1 per click and typical clicks of ₹6 to ₹35. The portal's suggested bid is the best starting point.

Why is my new style getting no impressions on Myntra ads?

Style targeting clusters on a 30-day performance lookback, so a new style ID with no history is rarely chosen. Add it to a keyword campaign or let it earn organic orders first.

What time should I raise bids on Myntra?

Agency guides recommend 10% to 15% higher bids between 7 pm and 11 pm, when fashion browsing peaks, and lower bids in hours that convert poorly in your own report.
