What are PLA credits on Myntra?

PLA credits on Myntra are prepaid advertising credits that can be spent only on Product Listing Ads campaigns in the Partner Portal. Most sellers meet them as the Growth Enablement Charge, ₹15,000 or ₹25,000 collected at onboarding and returned as PLA credit, which is drawn down click by click like a release order until it is used up.

Where PLA credits come from

When a seller onboards on Myntra, the platform collects a Growth Enablement Charge, reported at ₹15,000 or ₹25,000 depending on the onboarding plan. Rather than being a fee that disappears, it is credited back to the seller's ads account as PLA credit. The intent is simple: every new seller starts with a working ad budget, and Myntra gets new styles into paid placements from day one.

The credit sits alongside any release order you raise. Campaigns draw from the balance per click, and when it is gone you raise an RO to continue. Some sellers are offered an assisted PLA programme where Myntra's team runs the credit for them; you can decline and run it yourself.

Sellers searching for 'myntra credit' usually find shopper-side pages about refunds to Myntra Credit; that is unrelated to seller ad credits.

How far ₹15,000 of PLA credit goes

Worked example: at an average ₹10 CPC, ₹15,000 of credit buys 1,500 clicks. If the styles convert at 3%, that is about 45 orders. At a ₹1,200 average order the credit produces ₹54,000 of attributed sales, a ROAS of 3.6 before returns. At ₹25 CPC the same credit buys only 600 clicks and 18 orders, so the bid you set decides how much learning the credit buys.

Because the credit is free money in the seller's eyes, the temptation is to spend it fast on every style. The better use is as a test budget: a handful of styles, automatic targeting, two weeks, then read the search terms and keep only the winners on a real release order.

Blooprint's Myntra ads guide on blooprint.in has a worked 30-day plan for the credit; this page stays on what the term means.

Using PLA credits well

  • Spend the credit on your best-photographed, best-priced styles, not on clearing old stock.
  • Keep bids near the low end of the agency range so the credit buys enough clicks to learn from.
  • Export the search terms report before the credit runs out; it is the main thing the credit buys.
  • Decide on the assisted programme early; once Myntra's team is running the credit you cannot easily take it back mid-way.
  • Track credit balance separately from RO balance so a sale week does not start with an empty account.

What does PLA credit mean on Myntra?

It is prepaid ad credit that can be spent only on Product Listing Ads campaigns. Most sellers receive it as the Growth Enablement Charge paid at onboarding, returned to the ads account as credit.

How much PLA credit does a new Myntra seller get?

Seller reports put the Growth Enablement Charge at ₹15,000 or ₹25,000 depending on the onboarding plan, and the same amount comes back as PLA credit. Confirm the figure on your own onboarding agreement.

Can I withdraw PLA credits as cash?

No. They are ad credits and can only be consumed by PLA campaigns. Unused credit stays in the ads account; check the expiry terms in your agreement.

Do I have to use Myntra's assisted PLA programme?

No. You can run the credit yourself from the Partner Portal. The assisted programme hands the campaigns to Myntra's team; it is optional.
