PCA stands for Product Contextual Ads, Flipkart's self-serve banner format: you upload a creative, choose the products or page it lands on, and Flipkart shows it in contextual slots such as search and browse banners. Unlike PLA, which promotes one listing card, a PCA campaign can carry a brand message, a range or an offer.
In Ads Manager you create a PCA campaign, upload a banner in Flipkart's sizes, pick the landing page and set a budget and bid. Flipkart's team reviews the creative against its guidelines, and once approved the banner competes for contextual slots on search results, browse pages and category pages. You are charged when a shopper clicks the banner, so the campaign reports show clicks, spend, orders and ROI in the same shape as a PLA report.
Worked example: a PCA banner for a three-SKU cookware range runs on a ₹1,000 daily budget for ten days and spends ₹9,200 for 1,150 clicks (₹8 per click). The range page produces 60 orders worth ₹54,000, an ROI of 5.9. Because the landing page holds three products, the FSN report shows which of them the banner actually sold.
Flipkart's own ads channel argues that skipping PCA leaves visibility on the table; that is Flipkart's claim, not an independent figure.
| PLA | PCA | |
|---|---|---|
| What is shown | Your listing card, marked sponsored | Your banner creative |
| Landing | The FSN page | FSN, product set or brand page |
| Targeting | Keywords or automatic | Contextual placements and product context |
| Creative work | None | Design plus Flipkart approval |
| Best for | Steady conversion on every FSN | Launches, ranges, offers, brand recall |
Blooprint's blog on blooprint.in compares PLA and PCA at length. The short version: PLA is where most sellers start and stay; PCA is worth adding when there is a range or a sale to talk about.

Learn more →PCA stands for Product Contextual Ads. It is Flipkart's self-serve banner ad format, run from Ads Manager, with your own creative landing on a product, product set or brand page.
PLA shows your product listing card in sponsored slots and needs no creative. PCA shows a banner you design, lands on a page you choose, and needs Flipkart's creative approval. Both run from the same Ads Manager.
PCA is available in Flipkart Ads Manager to sellers whose account is eligible for it. Eligibility and creative rules are shown inside Ads Manager for your account; check there before designing banners.
