Flipkart ads credit is the balance that Flipkart Ads campaigns spend from. Flipkart Ads is a credit-based platform: campaigns draw on money in your ads wallet, which you top up or which is funded from settlements, on promotional credits Flipkart gives selected sellers, or on the Advertise Now, Pay Later credit line that is repaid from your next payout.
Before a campaign can run it needs credit behind it. The standard source is the ads wallet in Flipkart Ads Manager, topped up online or from your seller settlements. Promotional credits, which Flipkart has offered to selected sellers such as new sellers or during campaigns, sit in the same balance and are usually spent first. Advertise Now, Pay Later (ANPL), launched in July 2025, lets eligible sellers run PLA and PCA without pre-funding; spend is deducted from the next payout, with no interest or fee according to the launch coverage.
Flipkart also reserves part of the balance against live campaigns so they can spend their daily budgets. That reserved part is the blocked balance, and it is why the wallet can show money you cannot use for a new campaign.
Worked example: a seller has ₹20,000 in the ads wallet and five live campaigns with ₹1,500 daily budgets. Flipkart reserves ₹7,500 against them, leaving ₹12,500 free. If one campaign has no end date it keeps its reservation indefinitely, even while paused by a rule. The ₹20,000 top-up itself carries 18% GST on the ad spend it funds, which a registered seller claims back from the invoice in Seller Hub.
| Credit type | Who pays and when | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Wallet top-up | You, in advance | Blocked balance on open-ended campaigns |
| Promotional credit | Flipkart, for selected sellers | Expiry dates; spend it on proven FSNs, not tests |
| Advertise Now, Pay Later | You, from the next payout | Over-spend: the deduction arrives after the sale |
ANPL is a timing change, not free money. It helps a new seller whose payouts lag orders, and it risks an unpleasant settlement if budgets run high through a sale. Blooprint's Flipkart ads guide on blooprint.in covers wallet setup; this page is about keeping the balance under control.

Campaigns only run against available credit. Budgets are reserved from the balance while campaigns are live, and spend is drawn from it as clicks and impressions are charged.

No. It changes when you pay, not how much. Spend is deducted from your next settlement. Flipkart's separate promotional credits are the ones that are given free, to selected sellers only.
GST at 18% is charged on ad spend. Invoices are available in Seller Hub payments, and registered sellers can usually claim input tax credit.
