What is Blinkit Brand Central, the Blinkit ads manager?

Blinkit Brand Central is Blinkit's self-serve advertiser portal, the equivalent of an ads manager, at brands.blinkit.com. Brands log in to create Product Booster and other campaigns, set bids and budgets, top up the ad wallet and download the reach and performance reports that hold impressions, clicks, add-to-carts, orders and ROAS.

What you do in Brand Central

Brand Central is where a Blinkit campaign starts and ends. You pick the products, choose keyword or category targeting for Product Booster, set a bid and a daily budget, and decide whether to switch on Bid Booster, which lets Blinkit raise your bid by up to 50% for placements it predicts will convert. The wallet is prepaid, so campaigns stop when the balance runs out.

Reporting is split into a reach report and a performance report. Reach covers impressions and clicks by campaign and city; performance covers add-to-carts (ATCs), orders, sales and ROAS. The ATC column is specific to quick commerce and sits between clicks and orders, so a campaign with many ATCs and few orders points to stock or checkout problems rather than targeting.

Blinkit's public site for Brand Central is a shell page with almost no text, which is why sellers search for 'blinkit ads manager' and 'blinkit ads dashboard'; the portal itself is behind the login.

Reading the numbers

Worked example: a brand tops up ₹15,000 and runs Product Booster at an average ₹5 CPC. That funds about 3,000 clicks before the 18% GST on the invoice. If the performance report shows 360 ATCs and 240 orders, the ATC rate is 12% and the order rate is 8%; the 120 lost carts are the first thing to investigate.

Dashboard ROAS in quick commerce may be calculated on MRP rather than the price the shopper paid, so export the report and recompute on net realised value. A 4x dashboard ROAS can be closer to 2.5x after commission and discounts.

Reports refresh with a lag and campaigns take two to three days to settle, so weekly reads are more reliable than daily ones.

Brand Central vs the other quick commerce portals

  • Blinkit Brand Central is fully self-serve for Product Booster; banners and shelves are usually booked with the brand team.
  • Zepto's platform, Jarvis, is opened to brands through Zepto's sales contact or a partner agency for many accounts.
  • Swiggy Instamart has a self-serve ads portal for Item Boost search ads; larger packages are managed by its brand solutions team.
  • None of the three exports data to the others, which is why brands running all three keep a combined sheet or a dashboard that pulls each report.
