Amazon ads in India are the Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns a seller runs on amazon.in, billed per click in rupees with 18% GST on the invoice. There is no fixed price: you pay your winning bid each click, and agency data puts median CPCs between ₹7 and ₹19 depending on category, with a practical floor of about ₹500 a day for usable data.
Every Amazon ad format on amazon.in is an auction. You set a bid per keyword or target, the ad shows when the bid wins, and you pay the click at or just above the next bid, adjusted by placement multipliers and dynamic bidding. So the cost of Amazon ads is not a price list but the sum of clicks you bought. Amazon's own help pages explain the formats; Blooprint's Amazon ads guide on blooprint.in covers setup. This page is about what the rupees look like.
Agency data from eVanik puts median CPCs at ₹7 for books up to ₹19 for beauty, with a broader spread of ₹2 to ₹8 in low-competition niches, ₹8 to ₹20 in most categories and ₹20 to ₹80 or more where large brands compete. The same sources report CPCs rising 40% to 80% between 2023 and 2026. A Seller Central forum thread shows a ₹10 bid billed at ₹50 per click because of a 400% top-of-search adjustment, so check placement settings before blaming the auction.
GST is 18% on the ad invoice, claimable as input credit by a registered seller. Wallet invoices sometimes need a Seller Support case to be issued.
Worked example: a seller runs one Sponsored Products campaign at ₹500 a day. At ₹10 a click that is 50 clicks a day; at an 8% conversion rate it is 4 orders a day and about 120 a month, for ₹15,000 of ad spend plus ₹2,700 GST. If the average order is ₹899, attributed sales are about ₹1,08,000 and ACoS is 14%. Whether that is good depends on margin: at a 35% margin the ads earn money, at 12% they do not.
Agencies quote ₹500 a day as the practical minimum, note that below ₹300 a day you rarely get enough clicks to learn anything, and say that under ₹15,000 a month the effort is not worth it. Those are opinions, but they match the maths: at ₹10 a click, ₹300 buys 30 clicks, which tells you nothing about a keyword.
Management is the other cost. Agencies charge ₹15,000 to ₹2 lakh a month or 12% to 15% of spend; software such as BlooprintAI is a flat ₹14,999 a month for Amazon India and UAE.

It is whatever you budget. At ₹500 a day, the practical minimum agencies suggest, a month is about ₹15,000 plus ₹2,700 GST. Agencies say that below ₹15,000 a month the data is too thin to optimise.
Amazon's minimum daily budget is low, but agencies report that below ₹300 a day you rarely get enough clicks to learn from. ₹500 a day is the common starting point.
