CPC (cost per click) is ad spend divided by clicks. Enter the spend and clicks from your Amazon, Flipkart or Meesho campaign report and this calculator returns the average cost per click in rupees and how many clicks each ₹1,000 buys. Use it to check whether what you pay per click fits what a click is worth to you.
Use spend and clicks for the same campaign, keyword or placement over the same dates.
Worked example: a Sponsored Products campaign spent ₹4,500 last week and got 500 clicks. CPC is 4,500 ÷ 500 = ₹9. Each ₹1,000 of budget buys about 111 clicks.
The figure is an average. Individual clicks cost more on top of search and less on product pages, and Amazon's second-price auction means you usually pay a little above the next bid, not your full bid. If CPC is above your bid, placement adjustments or dynamic bidding (up and down) are raising it.
CPC on its own does not say much. A ₹25 click is cheap for a ₹2,000 product that converts at 12% and ruinous for a ₹249 product that converts at 5%. The test is whether CPC sits under your maximum CPC, which is selling price × conversion rate × target ACoS.
For orientation only: the eVanik blog puts Amazon India category medians at roughly ₹7 (books) to ₹19 (beauty), with ₹20 to ₹80 or more in beauty, electronics and supplements, and Blooprint's Meesho ads guide reports ₹2 to ₹6 on Meesho. Your own history is a better comparison than any of these.
| Price | Conversion rate | Target ACoS | Maximum CPC |
|---|---|---|---|
| ₹499 | 8% | 25% | ₹9.98 |
| ₹999 | 10% | 30% | ₹29.97 |
| ₹1,999 | 6% | 20% | ₹23.99 |
| ₹249 | 5% | 25% | ₹3.11 |
The calculator checks one campaign. BlooprintAI shows CPC, bid, suggested bid, ACoS and CVR for every keyword and target in one table, so you can filter to everything where CPC is above its maximum and lower those bids together, with a summary first and a log after.

Learn more →CPC = ad spend ÷ clicks. ₹4,500 of spend on 500 clicks is a CPC of ₹9. It is the average you paid, not your bid.
One that is below your maximum CPC: selling price × conversion rate × target ACoS. Published category medians run roughly ₹7 to ₹19 (eVanik), but a good CPC depends on your price and conversion.
Placement adjustments and dynamic bidding (up and down) raise the bid Amazon uses on top of search. A ₹10 bid with a 50% top-of-search adjustment can be charged up to ₹15 there.
Yes. Flipkart PLA charges per click, so the formula is identical. Flipkart sets CPC from your placement bids, so a high CPC often points to one expensive placement.
Ad console reports show spend before GST. Amazon Ads invoices in India add 18% GST, so the cash cost per click is CPC × 1.18.
