Swiggy Instamart ads cost roughly ₹2 to ₹20 per click for sponsored listings, depending on the source and the slot, and ₹80 to ₹250 per thousand impressions for banners, plus 18% GST. Instamart publishes no rate card, and agency figures conflict more than for any other app. Onboarding packs are reported at ₹4.5 to ₹9 lakh for three months. This page separates the verified from the claimed.
Instamart moved its item ads to a cost-per-click model, as a widely shared LinkedIn post reported, and gives brands a self-serve portal for sponsored listings. Banners, push notifications and packs are still sold largely through Swiggy's brand solutions team on quarterly commitments. So there are two price lists: auction CPCs you see in the portal, and negotiated packs you are quoted. Agencies report both, from different client mixes, which is why the ranges below disagree.
Note that searches for 'Swiggy ads cost' often mean restaurant ads on Swiggy's food app, a separate product. Everything here is Instamart. Blooprint's quick commerce ads guide compares the three apps; this page is Instamart's cost lines.
| Line | Reported figure | Source | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sponsored listing CPC | ₹5 to ₹20 | Ladya benchmark, April 2026 | Agency benchmark |
| Top of search vs lower | ₹10 to ₹20 vs ₹2 to ₹5 | Ladya | Agency benchmark |
| Sponsored listing CPC | ₹2 to ₹12 or ₹3 to ₹12 | Other agency guides | Agency figures |
| Banner CPM | ₹80 to ₹250 | Agency guides | Agency figures |
| Minimums by format | Sponsored ₹15,000, banner ₹25,000, brand store ₹50,000, takeover ₹1 lakh | One agency | Unverified, single source |
| Onboarding packs | ₹4.5 to ₹9 lakh for three months | Storyboard18, Unbundl | Reported |
| Quarterly brand packs | ₹8 to ₹10 lakh | GlobalWebsters | Single agency |
Read the three-month packs as roughly ₹1.5 to ₹3 lakh a month. A brand testing only sponsored listings in the self-serve portal can start well below that.
Agency guides warn that Instamart and Zepto dashboards can compute ROAS on MRP rather than on what the shopper paid. On a product with a ₹500 MRP selling at ₹340, that inflates ROAS by about 47%: a dashboard 4.4x is 3.0x on selling price. Subtract Ladya's 15% to 25% commission and cost of goods and its benchmark puts true Instamart ROAS at 1x to 2x against 3x to 5x reported.
Before comparing Instamart to Blinkit or Zepto, recompute all three on selling price. Instamart often looks best on the dashboard and worst on this check, because its commission range is the highest of the three.
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Sponsored listings, self-serve | ₹50,000 plus ₹9,000 GST |
| Blended CPC | ₹8 |
| Clicks | About 6,250 |
| Orders at 6%, ₹250 average | About 375 orders, ₹93,750 on selling price |
| ROAS on selling price | 1.9x; on MRP the dashboard may show more |
At 1.9x on selling price and a 20% commission, this month is below break-even for most brands. The fix is usually stock and relevance, not a bigger budget: agency guides link most Instamart ROAS drops to stock-outs in the targeted stores.

None is published. One agency quotes ₹15,000 for sponsored listings, ₹25,000 for banners, ₹50,000 for a brand store and ₹1 lakh for a takeover; that is a single unverified source.
Dashboards may compute ROAS on MRP. A ₹500 MRP product selling at ₹340 shows about 47% more ROAS than it earned. Recompute on selling price, then subtract commission.
No. Swiggy's food app sells restaurant ads; Instamart ads promote grocery and household brands in the Instamart app. Costs and portals differ.
Sponsored listings (item ads) are CPC. Banners are CPM, and packs are fixed quarterly commitments.
