Amazon Sponsored Products has no setup fee and no minimum contract; you pay per click, at a price set by auction and capped by your bid after placement adjustments. eVanik puts category medians at ₹7 to ₹19 per click, sellers on the Seller Central India forum report ₹39 to ₹150 on competitive terms, and 18% GST is added. Monthly cost is clicks times CPC.
You are charged only when a shopper clicks the ad. The price per click is decided by a second-price auction: you pay just enough to beat the next bid, up to your own bid after placement multipliers and dynamic bidding. Impressions are free, which is why a campaign with many impressions and few clicks costs almost nothing, and why CTR matters less than conversion for cost. Our billing guide covers when the money is actually taken.
There is no charge for creating campaigns, no monthly fee and no minimum term. The only fixed cost is your time, or the software or agency you use to save it.

None of these is an Amazon figure. Amazon does not publish average CPCs for India. Our average CPC guide looks at these ranges in more detail; the point here is that your own campaign report shows your real CPC today.
Monthly cost is clicks times CPC. At ₹15 per click and 30 clicks a day, that is ₹450 a day or about ₹13,500 a month before GST, which is close to the ₹15,000 a month that SW Cybernetics quotes as the level below which Sponsored Products rarely produces enough data to optimise. At ₹40 per click in a competitive category, the same 30 clicks cost ₹36,000 a month. This is why the question how much do Amazon ads cost has no answer without your category.
The better question is cost per order. At ₹15 per click and an 8% conversion rate, an order costs about ₹190 in ad spend. If the product sells for ₹999 with a 35% margin, ₹190 is within margin and the ads make money. At 3% conversion the order costs ₹500 and the ads lose money at any budget. Our break-even calculator does this per product.
The ceiling per click. Start at the low end of Amazon's suggested range on your best terms and raise only where orders follow.
A 400% top-of-search adjustment turns a ₹10 bid into ₹50, as an Amazon staff reply on the India forum explains. Keep adjustments low until the base bid is proven.
Dynamic bids, up and down lets Amazon raise bids by up to 100% at top of search. Down only or fixed bids cap CPC. Our dynamic bids guide compares them.
Exact match on head terms is dear; broad and auto collect cheaper clicks, and negatives stop paying for the wrong ones.
Amazon ranks ads on expected performance, so a listing that converts wins the same slot at a lower bid over time.
The console shows CPC per campaign and per keyword, but not next to margin. BlooprintAI's dashboard for Amazon India puts CPC, orders, ACoS and spend per keyword in one table, so you can filter the twenty keywords with the highest CPC and no orders and lower their bids in one action after a summary. It does not change bids on its own; it shows where the money goes and lets you act.
Filter every keyword and target by ACoS, CPC, CVR or spend and change bids in one go.

No. You pay per click only. The practical minimum for usable data is about ₹500 a day, and SW Cybernetics suggests around ₹15,000 a month.
Clicks times CPC. Thirty clicks a day at ₹15 is about ₹13,500 a month before 18% GST; the same clicks at ₹40 cost ₹36,000.
Placement adjustments and Dynamic bids, up and down raise the effective bid. A 400% top-of-search adjustment turns ₹10 into ₹50, as an Amazon staff reply on the India forum explains.
