AED bidding means setting your cost-per-click bids in United Arab Emirates dirhams, which is how noon UAE and amazon.ae ad campaigns are priced. The CPC formula is the same as in India, spend divided by clicks, but every number is in a currency worth roughly ₹22 to ₹23, so a bid that looks small, AED 1.2, is about ₹27 a click.
Both platforms run a per-click auction. On amazon.ae you set a default bid per keyword or target in Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands or Sponsored Display, exactly as on amazon.in, with dynamic bidding and placement adjustments available. On noon you set a bid per campaign or per keyword in Product Ads; noon's help examples use AED 2 automatic and AED 1.5 to 3 manual bids. Display on noon is bought per thousand impressions, example AED 5 CPM.
The maths is unchanged from India. If a campaign spends AED 300 for 250 clicks, the CPC is AED 1.20. The highest bid you can afford is contribution per order multiplied by the conversion rate: an AED 35 contribution at 6% conversion caps the bid at AED 2.10.
What changes is scale. An Indian seller used to ₹5 clicks sees AED 1.2 and thinks it cheap; it is ₹27. Budgets also read small: agencies suggest AED 50 to 100 a day per product on amazon.ae, which is ₹1,100 to ₹2,250. Convert before deciding.
| Dirham figure | About in rupees | What it usually is |
|---|---|---|
| AED 0.5 | ₹11 | Low bid on a long-tail keyword |
| AED 1.2 | ₹27 | Typical worked-example CPC |
| AED 3 | ₹68 | noon manual bid example on a head keyword |
| AED 10 | ₹225 | noon minimum daily budget per campaign (reported) |
| AED 50 | ₹1,125 | Agency-suggested starting daily budget per product on amazon.ae |
| AED 500 | ₹11,250 | A week of Product Ads at the worked-example rate |
Rates move; the table uses roughly ₹22.5 per dirham, the rate implied by the research examples, so check the day's rate before setting budgets. The point is the order of magnitude, not the paise.
Work out the dirham CPC you can afford from price, margin and conversion rate.
