BlooprintAI's Amazon negative keyword tool does three things: it shows every search term across your account with its clicks, spend and orders, it flags the ones spending without selling as Money Pits, and it uploads the negatives you choose as negative exact or negative phrase, in bulk, after a confirmation step. It never adds a negative on its own.
Every auto and broad campaign pays for searches that will never convert: the wrong size, a competitor's brand, a use case your product does not serve. Amazon's search term report lists them, but per campaign, sixty days at a time, and adding a negative means opening each campaign and typing it in. So the report gets downloaded once a quarter and most of the waste continues.
Blooprint's negative keywords guide on blooprint.in explains match types and strategy for beginners. This page is about the software that makes the weekly routine short enough to keep.
Search terms from all campaigns are joined to the keyword or target that triggered them, with impressions, clicks, spend, orders, ACoS and CVR, for the period you choose.
A typical filter: more than 15 clicks and zero orders in 60 days, or spend above ₹300 with ACoS above break-even. The Money Pits bucket in keyword efficiency does the same for keywords.
Mark each term as negative exact or negative phrase, and choose whether it applies to the campaign, the ad group, or every campaign in a set.
You see the full list of negatives about to be added before anything is sent. The upload runs through the Ads API and leaves a downloadable log.
| Type | Blocks | Use it when |
|---|---|---|
| Negative exact | Only that exact search term | A specific query wastes clicks but close variants convert |
| Negative phrase | Any search containing the phrase | A word such as 'free', 'used' or a competitor brand should never trigger the ad |
| Negative ASIN or brand | Ads on a product or brand page | Auto or product targeting keeps showing your ad against a product that never converts |
The same table also shows converting search terms that have not yet been added as exact keywords, so harvesting and negating happen in one sitting.
Some tools add negatives by rule: any term with N clicks and no orders is blocked overnight. It sounds efficient, and in a launch month it can block the exact query that would have converted on click twenty-one. A negative is easy to add and easy to forget, and an account that has run automatic negatives for a year is often invisible on searches it should own.
BlooprintAI leaves the decision with you. The software finds the candidates, shows the numbers, and applies your list in bulk. Every upload is logged, so a negative added in a hurry can be found and removed. If you want negatives applied without review, the comparison page lists tools that do that.
Blocking waste lowers spend; it does not raise sales. The other half of the same routine is finding the search terms that convert in auto and broad campaigns and moving them into exact campaigns at a bid you control. The search term analysis page covers that side, and bulk keyword addition puts the harvested terms into campaigns from a file.
