ROI in Meesho ads is ad-attributed revenue divided by ad spend, so an ROI of 5 means ₹5 of sales for every ₹1 spent. Enter spend and revenue from the Meesho ads dashboard to get your ROI and the equivalent ACoS, then add your margin to see the break-even ROI, the lowest minimum ROI you should set.
Take ad spend and ad revenue from the Meesho ads dashboard for the same campaign and period. Add your margin before ads (price minus product cost, shipping and Meesho's deductions, as a % of price).
Worked example: ₹2,000 of spend brought ₹9,000 of ad revenue. ROI is 9,000 ÷ 2,000 = 4.5, the same result as a 22.2% ACoS on Amazon. With a 22% margin, break-even ROI is 100 ÷ 22 = 4.55, so this campaign is just below break-even: ₹9,000 × 22% = ₹1,980 of margin against ₹2,000 of spend, a ₹20 loss before any organic lift.
Revenue here is ad-attributed revenue as Meesho reports it, before returns. Meesho's return and RTO rates are high in some categories, so if a third of orders come back, the real ROI is lower than the dashboard shows.
Meesho's ROI-based ads let you set a minimum ROI and Meesho's system shows your catalogue where it expects to meet it, as reported by storyboard18 and explained in our Meesho ROI Plus guide. The minimum ROI is therefore the one number you control, and it should never sit below break-even.
A practical rule: minimum ROI = break-even ROI plus the profit you want to keep. At a 25% margin break-even is 4; a target of 5 keeps roughly a fifth of the margin after ads. Set it too high and the campaign barely spends; too low and it spends freely at a loss.
| Margin before ads | Break-even ROI | A sensible minimum ROI |
|---|---|---|
| 40% | 2.5 | 3 to 3.5 |
| 30% | 3.3 | 4 to 4.5 |
| 25% | 4 | 5 |
| 20% | 5 | 6 to 6.5 |
| 15% | 6.7 | 8 or more |
Meesho ads management in BlooprintAI is coming soon and is not sold yet. Today it manages Amazon and Flipkart + Shopsy, where the same ROI arithmetic runs across every campaign in one dashboard.
How the minimum-ROI mode works, with a worked example and a weekly routine.
Learn more →Cost per order, the other number on the Meesho dashboard.
Learn more →Flipkart's ROI as a multiple, with the equivalent ACoS.
Learn more →PLA campaigns from a CSV, placement bids and keywords in bulk, and reporting the seller dashboard does not give you. ₹12,999 per month, Shopsy included.
Learn more →ROI = ad-attributed revenue ÷ ad spend. ₹9,000 of revenue on ₹2,000 of spend is an ROI of 4.5, meaning ₹4.50 of sales per rupee spent.
Anything above your break-even ROI, which is 1 ÷ margin before ads. Blooprint's Meesho ads guide reports typical ROIs of 3 to 4.5, but at a 20% margin you need more than 5 to profit.
Break-even ROI plus the profit you want to keep. At a 25% margin break-even is 4, so a minimum ROI of about 5 keeps some profit. Too high and the campaign barely spends.
Yes, both are ad revenue ÷ ad spend. It is the inverse of Amazon's ACoS: an ROI of 4 equals a 25% ACoS.
Not fully. Dashboard revenue is counted before returns and RTO, so in high-return categories the real ROI is lower than reported.
