Meesho ads cost per month: CPC, budgets and the returns line (2026)

Meesho ads cost between ₹1 and ₹6 per click by the ranges seller guides report, there is no commission on ad orders, and a campaign can start at ₹100 a day, so a working monthly budget for a small supplier is ₹3,000 to ₹9,000. The click price is rarely the problem. The cost that decides whether Meesho ads pay is returns, which this page puts into the monthly number.

What Meesho actually charges for ads

Meesho Ads are billed per click. You pick a catalogue, set a budget and, depending on the campaign type, a bid or a minimum ROI target, and Meesho shows the catalogue in sponsored slots in search and category feeds. A tap costs money; an impression does not; an order carries no extra ad fee. Spend comes out of a prepaid ads wallet, separate from order settlements, and stops when the wallet or the campaign's weekly cap is used up.

Meesho publishes no rate card and the Supplier Panel is behind a login, so every click price in circulation is an observation. Blooprint's Meesho ads guide puts most 2026 clicks between ₹1 and ₹5, cheapest in fashion and home decor, dearer in beauty and electronics accessories. Other seller guides quote ₹2 to ₹6. Both ranges are a fraction of Amazon's ₹6 to ₹40, which is why the monthly budget question on Meesho is small and the profit question is not.

Monthly cost at three budget levels

The table assumes a ₹2.50 blended CPC, which sits inside both reported ranges. Your own campaigns will show the real number within a week.

Daily budgetMonthly spendClicks a monthOrders at 5% CVRFit

₹300₹9,000About 3,600About 180Two or three proven catalogues
₹1,000₹30,000About 12,000About 600Ten or more catalogues, only if the maths below works

Add 18% GST to each spend line. Meesho issues a tax invoice for ad spend, and a GST-registered supplier claims it back as input credit; a supplier selling on an enrolment ID without GST pays it as a cost.

The number that matters: cost per order, then returns

Cost per order is CPC divided by conversion rate. At ₹2 a click and 5% conversion an order costs ₹40 of ads; at ₹3 and 4% it costs ₹75. On a ₹349 kurti that gap is the difference between profit and loss, which is why a ₹1 change in CPC matters more on Meesho than a ₹10 change on Amazon.

Then count returns. Meesho charges no commission on most categories, but forward shipping is paid on every order and reverse shipping on every customer return; third-party fee guides put reverse shipping on a light parcel at roughly ₹153 to ₹165. Blooprint's worked example, a ₹349 product at a 20% return rate and ₹40 ad cost per order, clears about ₹11 per order after ads. Move the return rate to 30% and the same campaign loses money at any CPC. The ads dashboard ROI, which is revenue over spend at order time, shows none of this.

What to do before you raise the budget

  1. Fix the maximum ad cost per order

Margin per delivered order, less the return loss spread across all orders, less the profit you want to keep. Below ₹60 to ₹80 of margin per delivered order, agency and Blooprint guidance agree that ads on Meesho cannot pay.

  2. Read the CPC and conversion rate from a ₹100-a-day week

About 40 clicks a day is enough to see both numbers by the weekend. Do not judge on two days.

  3. Set the budget from stock and packing capacity

₹300 a day at ₹2.50 and 5% is about six extra orders a day. If you cannot dispatch them, the ranking gain is wasted.

  4. Reconcile a month later

Match ad-attributed orders to delivered orders in settlements. If a third came back, the ROI the panel showed was fiction.

Where BlooprintAI fits

BlooprintAI does not manage Meesho ads yet; Meesho is marked coming soon. The Amazon and Flipkart products are live today, and the cost-per-order and break-even logic on this page is the same one the Flipkart ROI views use. Blooprint's Meesho ads guide covers setup and the full fee stack; this page stays on cost.

Frequently asked questions

How much do Meesho ads cost per click?

Meesho does not publish it. Seller guides report ₹1 to ₹6 per click in 2026, with fashion and home decor at the low end. Your own campaign shows the real number within a week of running at ₹100 a day.

What is the minimum budget for Meesho ads?

Sellers report campaigns from ₹100 a day, funded from a prepaid ads wallet in the Supplier Panel. Meesho's stated minimum, if any, is inside the panel and not published.

Does Meesho charge commission on ad orders?

No. Ads are charged per click. An order that follows a click carries the same 0% commission on most categories and the same forward and reverse shipping charges as an organic order.

Is GST charged on Meesho ad spend?

Yes, 18% on the ad spend, invoiced by Meesho. A GST-registered supplier claims it as input tax credit; a supplier without GST registration bears it as a cost.

Why does my Meesho ads ROI look good but I am losing money?

The panel counts revenue at order time and ignores returns, reverse shipping and forward shipping on returned orders. Work out net profit per delivered order and the return rate for the catalogue, not the account average.
