The Flipkart placement performance report breaks each PLA campaign's impressions, clicks, spend and ROI down by where the ad appeared: the search top slot, the rest of the search page, browse pages and their top slot, product pages and the home page. It tells you which placements earn their price. Placement bid multipliers then let you pay more where ROI is high and less where it is not.
A PLA campaign competes for several kinds of space. The search top slot is the first sponsored positions on a search results page, where most shoppers look first. The rest of the search page carries sponsored listings further down. Browse pages are category pages reached by tapping through menus, with their own top slot. Product pages carry sponsored listings under and beside the product a shopper is viewing. The home page carries recommendation-style sponsored units. Flipkart's own 'Placements for the PLA Ad' walkthrough on the Sell on Flipkart channel shows where each sits.
Each placement attracts a different shopper. Search top slot catches someone who typed a query and is choosing; product page catches someone already looking at a rival; home page catches someone browsing without a plan. The same bid buys a very different click in each. Blooprint's PLA vs PCA guide covers ad formats; this page is only about PLA placement.
| Column | What to look at | Warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| Impressions | Share of the campaign's impressions per placement | Almost all on home page: the ad is being shown to browsers, not searchers |
| CPC | Cost per click per placement | Top slot CPC more than double the rest with no better ROI |
| Conversion rate | Orders over clicks per placement | A placement with many clicks and near-zero orders |
| Spend | Where the money actually goes | One placement taking most spend below break-even |
| ROI | Attributed revenue over spend per placement | Compare with break-even, not with other placements |
Read it campaign by campaign, not across the account, because a placement that works for a hero FSN on exact keywords may not work for an automatic campaign on the long tail. Use a closed period of two weeks or more so attribution has filled in, as Blooprint's attribution guide explains.
A worked example. Break-even ROI is 4 at a 25% margin. A campaign's search top slot shows CPC ₹14 and ROI 6.5; product page shows CPC ₹6 and ROI 5; home page shows CPC ₹5 and ROI 2.2. All three are spending.
Search top slot is well above break-even: raise its multiplier until ROI approaches your target, perhaps 20% at a time, and watch whether ROI holds. Product page is above break-even and cheap: leave it or nudge it up. Home page is below break-even: lower its multiplier towards the minimum so it only wins cheap impressions, and check again in two weeks. The campaign's base bid stays; the multipliers move the money to where it returns more.
Note what each campaign uses today. Many campaigns sit on defaults nobody chose.
Above target: raise. Between break-even and target: hold. Below break-even: lower.
Moves of 20 to 30% show the effect within a closed week without swinging spend wildly.
Placement ROI shifts as competitors change bids, especially before sale events.
During Big Billion Days, agency playbooks from swcybernetics and Pinnacle Growth suggest raising top-of-search bids by 30 to 50% on three to five hero SKUs, because search volume peaks and the top slot takes the largest share of orders. The same playbooks warn that CPCs run at two to three times normal, so the higher multiplier should apply only where the FSN converts well enough to carry it. Product page placements often become the better buy on sale days, because shoppers compare more and rivals bid less there. Blooprint's BBD guide covers the rest of the sale plan.
The report and the multipliers both live per campaign in the Ads panel, so reviewing thirty campaigns means thirty downloads and thirty edit screens. BlooprintAI fetches the current placement multipliers for every Flipkart campaign, shows placement performance side by side in one table, and updates multipliers in bulk: home page, search page, search top slot, browse page, browse top slot and product page, with a summary before anything changes and a log after.
The Flipkart and Shopsy workflow in BlooprintAI: bulk campaign creation, placement bids, keyword control and reports the seller dashboard does not give you.

Learn more →A report in the Flipkart Ads panel that splits each PLA campaign's impressions, clicks, spend, orders and ROI by placement: search top slot, search page, browse page and its top slot, product page and home page.
It depends on the product, but the search top slot usually converts best and costs most, and product pages are often cheapest per order. Judge each placement's ROI against your break-even over a closed period, not against the others.
Yes. Each PLA campaign has a bid multiplier per placement. Raise it where ROI is above target, lower it where ROI is below break-even, in steps of 20 to 30%.
Agency playbooks suggest 30 to 50% higher top-of-search bids on three to five hero SKUs. Apply it only where the FSN converts well enough to carry CPCs two to three times normal.
The campaign's home page multiplier may be high relative to others, or the FSN matches few searches. Check the report; if home page ROI is below break-even, lower that multiplier and review keyword coverage.
