There is no official Amazon benchmark for India. The ranges that Indian sellers and agencies quote are ACoS of 10 to 25% for mature Sponsored Products campaigns and 40 to 60% during launches, ROAS of 4 to 6x, and Sponsored Brands ACoS well above Sponsored Products. This page collects those numbers with their sources and shows how to replace them with your own targets.
Every figure below is attributed. Where two sources disagree, both are listed.
| Metric | Range quoted | Source |
|---|---|---|

| ACoS, Sponsored Brands | 50% and above reported | Seller Central India forum |

CTR and conversion rate benchmarks for India are not published by any source we could verify. Global blogs quote figures, but they are US data. Use your own account's search-term report: a keyword CTR well below the account average is a relevance signal, and conversion below the listing's organic rate is a targeting signal.
Forum figures are single accounts and are quoted because they were unusual enough to post about. Agency figures are client averages across categories the agency happens to serve. Neither is a survey. Treat the table as a sanity check: if your mature Sponsored Products campaigns run at 45% ACoS, something is wrong; if they run at 12%, you may be under-bidding and leaving sales on the table. Anything in between is a question for your margin, not for a benchmark.
A 30% ACoS is a disaster for a ₹299 accessory with 25% margin and comfortable for a ₹2,999 appliance with 45% margin. The handbags seller in the forum thread What is a good ACOS in amazon advertising, at 30%, got twelve replies, and the most upvoted said the only rule is below your margin. That is the right answer. Our good ACoS guide walks through the calculation.
Stage matters as much as category. A launch campaign is buying reviews, rank and data; 60% ACoS for six weeks can be the cheapest way to get there. A mature product with rank should be well below break-even, and the gap is your profit.
Price minus Amazon fees minus product cost, divided by price. Use the break-even calculator.
Break-even minus the margin you want to keep. Most sellers keep 10 to 15 points.
Compare weekly by campaign, not by account. A profitable account can hide three campaigns that lose money.
BlooprintAI's dashboard shows ACoS, ROAS, CTR, CVR and spend by campaign, keyword and product for Amazon India, with the same metrics beside Flipkart if you sell there, and an Excel export for your own analysis. It shows you the targets outside your benchmark and lets you change bids on them in bulk after a summary; it does not set a benchmark and act on it for you.
One dashboard for spend, sales, ACoS and ROAS across marketplaces, plus Excel export.

Learn more →Gonukkad's comparison quotes 4 to 6x for Amazon India. One seller on the India forum reports 7 to 10x on Sponsored Products. A good ROAS is one above 1 divided by your margin.
No official figure exists. Forum replies put mature Sponsored Products at 10 to 25% and launches at up to 60%. Sponsored Brands run higher.
Not one we could verify. Compare each keyword's CTR with your account average instead.
ACoS is spend divided by ad sales; ROAS is ad sales divided by spend. A 25% ACoS is a 4x ROAS. Our ACoS calculator shows both.
Sponsored Brands sits at the top of results, costs more per click and is often used for awareness. A forum thread reports 50% and above against 10 to 15% for Sponsored Products in the same account.
